The PWIGS Brand, initially a wig retailer with a secondary line in skateboards on Amazon, lacked cohesive branding and a distinct identity. Tasked with revitalizing a poorly branded company for a Graphic Design 4 assignment in Fall 2023, I conducted an in-depth market analysis to realign their product focus. Opting to pivot from wigs to skateboards, I embraced an edgier, punk-inspired aesthetic to redefine PWIGS, establishing a compelling brand identity inclusive of a logo and comprehensive visual elements. This strategic rebranding was aimed at positioning PWIGS within the competitive skateboard market by leveraging design principles to create resonance with its target audience.
